She had worked for Itokin Co., Ltd.; a major fashion company in Tokyo. Since 1989¡¡she has worked as a free lance designer, £âesides, she assisted a prestagious costume designer for the musical "La Marrie's Vision".  Mitsuko participated many fashion contests in Japan and she received the most of awards at each events.  In 2005 she was chosen a member of "Edinburgh and Kyoto Art Exchange Program" and she studied at the summer shool of Edinburgh College of Art, UK.  In 2006 and 2007 she had chances to show her garments in Toronto, Canada and in Wellington, New Zealand.  In 2008, she received the section prize at The Montana World of Wearable Art Awards Show, New Zealand.  Now she tried to focus on her works as a wearable artist.
