Theme of Design:  A Section of Leather

Materials:             Sheep skin, Pig skin,

                           Linen Thread

Colors:                 Dark Brown, Light Brown,

                           Tan

Pig and sheep skin is used to express its unique characteristics of leather.  It is carefully coordinated into thin strips of leather which is then bundled together and tied with hemp thread.  The bundles are then assembled together to create the shape of this dress.

日本原皮毛協会　　理事長賞　　受賞

ユニークな皮革の断面，陰影と層を表現をするために、違うタイプの皮革、豚のヌメ革(ライトブラウン）とシープスキン(ダークブラウン）を使用した。これらの自然色と断面から地層のように見える風合いを楽しむ。細長く裁断された2種類の皮は色合いを調整しながら幾重にも重ね、麻紐で束ねてピースを作り全体のシルエットに近づけた。

トータルファッション協会が主催するこのコンテストは既に第17回を向かえ多くの新人デザイナーの登竜門となっている。審査員はコシノヒロコ、中野博通、安部憲章を初めとするメンバー6名で構成される。
